Powerful Jetting, Clear Pipes
High-pressure water jetting is the most effective way to clear stubborn drain blockages and restore full pipe capacity. Unlike drain rods, which push a blockage along, jetting blasts through grease, fat, silt, scale, tree roots and debris and cleans the full pipe wall in the process. We use professional-grade jetting equipment on both residential and commercial jobs, and our engineers adjust the water pressure to suit the pipe material, so old clay pipes and modern plastic drains are treated appropriately.
We typically start with a CCTV inspection to locate the blockage precisely and assess what we're dealing with. Then we introduce the jetting hose and work through the pipe methodically. After jetting, we run the camera through again to confirm the pipe is fully clear from wall to wall, not just passable. Most jobs are completed in under an hour, with no chemicals and no residue left behind.

Certified Engineers, Safe Process
Our engineers hold permits specifically for high-pressure jetting, which not every contractor can say. We're ISO 9001 certified for quality management and ISO 14001 certified for environmental management, and we use pure water rather than chemicals, so jetting is safe for the environment and your pipes. Every van is fully equipped and ready to work on arrival.
Some customers worry that high-pressure jetting might damage older or thinner pipes. Our engineers assess pipe condition and material before setting the pressure, and we'll flag any structural concerns we spot on the CCTV feed. If a pipe is too fragile for full jetting pressure, we'll recommend the most appropriate alternative. What Jetting Removes and When to Use It
Jetting is the go-to solution when drain rods have failed or when the blockage is too dense, too far along the pipe, or spread over a long section. It's also the best preventive maintenance tool available, clearing the build-up that causes blockages before they reach the point of causing a problem.
- Grease and fat build-up in restaurant and kitchen drains
- Tree root intrusion (with specialist root-cutting jet heads)
- Silt and sediment accumulation
- Scale and mineral deposits
- Wet wipes and sanitary products
- Soap and detergent residue
- Food waste compacted in commercial drain lines
- General debris and sludge in outdoor drains
Jetting for Commercial Properties
Commercial kitchens, restaurants and hotels generate significant volumes of grease and fat that coat drain walls over time and eventually cause blockages. Scheduled high-pressure jetting keeps that build-up under control before it reaches crisis point. We work around your operating hours, evenings and weekends included, to minimise disruption.
We offer planned maintenance contracts for commercial clients that include regular jetting intervals based on the volume of your operation. Busy restaurant kitchens often need quarterly jetting, while lower-throughput offices may need it annually. We'll assess your system and recommend a schedule that makes practical sense for your business.

High Pressure Jetting FAQs
Our engineers assess the pipe material and condition before setting the water pressure. For older clay pipes or pipes showing signs of wear on the CCTV inspection, we adjust the pressure accordingly. If we think a pipe isn't suitable for jetting, we'll tell you and recommend an alternative approach.
For most blockages, yes. Rods can push a blockage along, but they don't clean the pipe walls. Jetting removes the blockage and the build-up around it, which means the drain stays clear for longer. For tree root intrusion or compacted grease, jetting with the right cutting head is far more effective than rods.
It depends on the volume of cooking and the type of food being prepared. A busy restaurant kitchen may need jetting every three months to stay ahead of grease build-up. Lower-volume operations might manage with an annual jet. We can assess your system and recommend the right schedule.
No, we use pure water only. This is safer for the environment, better for your pipes, and doesn't leave any residue in the system. The water pressure does all the work.
We offer emergency high-pressure jetting as part of our 24/7 emergency service. We aim to reach you within two hours across Dublin, Kildare, Meath and Wicklow for urgent blockage situations.
