See Inside Your Drains

A CCTV drain survey sends a small waterproof camera through your drainage system to show us exactly what's happening inside the pipes. We can inspect domestic drains right through to large commercial sewers, recording everything as we go. You receive a full written report and the actual camera footage, giving you clear evidence of any issues found. Most surveys are completed in a single visit with no excavation needed.

Our engineer feeds the camera into the drain through an existing access point, manhole or cleanout. As the camera travels through the pipe, we watch the live feed and note anything that needs attention, whether that's a blockage, a crack, a displaced joint, tree root intrusion, or a section that has partially collapsed. We talk you through what we find in plain language and tell you clearly what, if anything, needs to be done.

Accurate Diagnosis, Clear Reporting

Our CCTV survey teams are ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified, and the reports we produce are accepted by insurers, solicitors and local authorities. Every van carries the latest camera equipment, from compact units for small residential pipes to high-resolution systems for larger commercial sewers. The footage we provide is yours to keep, giving you a permanent record of the drain condition at the time of the survey.

A lot of customers worry about whether a survey will actually find anything useful, or whether it'll just lead to expensive recommendations. Our job is honest diagnosis. If the drains are fine, we'll tell you that. If there's a problem, we'll show you exactly where it is on the footage and explain what's causing it. Get in touch to arrange a survey at a time that suits you.

When a Survey Is the Right Move

The most common reason people call us for a CCTV survey is recurring blockages. If your drain keeps blocking every few months despite being cleared, there's usually an underlying reason, a partial collapse, root ingress, or a build-up point where the pipe has shifted. A camera survey finds it quickly so the repair can target the actual cause.

CCTV Drain Surveys
  • Pre-purchase property inspections
  • Recurring or persistent blockages
  • Unexplained drain odours
  • Slow-draining fixtures across multiple rooms
  • Insurance claims requiring evidence of damage
  • New build sign-off and drainage compliance checks
  • Planning applications and extensions near existing drains

What the Camera Detects

Our cameras identify a wide range of issues that would be impossible to spot without excavation. Hairline cracks that allow root intrusion, joints that have shifted over time, collapsed sections, fat and grease build-up, and even illegal connections to the drainage system, all show up clearly on the recorded footage.

  • Blockages and debris accumulation
  • Cracks, fractures and corrosion
  • Tree root intrusion
  • Collapsed or partially collapsed pipes
  • Displaced or open joints
  • Fat and grease build-up
  • Illegal or unknown connections
  • Pipe deformation and settlement
