1. Introduction
These terms govern your use of the Dylex Drainage & Plumbing website (www.dylex.ie) and our drainage and plumbing services. By using our website or booking a service, you agree to these terms.

2. Services
We provide drainage and plumbing services for homes and businesses across Dublin and surrounding areas. Our services include:
- Emergency drain unblocking
- Domestic and commercial drain cleaning
- High pressure jetting
- CCTV drain surveys
- Drain repairs and maintenance
- Grease trap and septic tank services
- Plumbing repairs and installations
Service availability depends on your location and the nature of the work required.
3. Booking and Quotes
When you contact us for a service, we provide a quote based on the information you give us. Final pricing may vary if the work differs from the original description. We will inform you of any changes before proceeding.
A booking is confirmed when we agree on a date and time for the work. We will do our best to arrive within the agreed time window.
4. Payment
Payment is due upon completion of the work unless agreed otherwise in writing. We accept cash, credit card, debit card and bank transfer.
For larger projects, we may require a deposit before starting. The deposit amount and remaining balance will be confirmed in your quote.
Late payments may incur interest at a rate of 2% per month on outstanding amounts.
5. Cancellation
You may cancel a scheduled service with at least 24 hours notice at no charge. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a call-out fee to cover our costs.
If we need to cancel or reschedule, we will contact you as soon as possible to arrange a new time.
6. Warranties
We provide a minimum 30-day warranty on drain cleaning and unblocking work. For repairs and installations, specific warranty terms will be provided at the time of service.
Warranties do not cover:
- Problems caused by misuse or neglect.
- Normal wear and tear.
- Issues unrelated to the work we carried out.
- Damage caused by third parties after our work is complete.
7. Liability
We carry full public liability insurance. We take all reasonable care to avoid damage to your property during our work.
Our liability is limited to the cost of the services provided. We are not liable for indirect losses, loss of profit or consequential damages.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
8. Access to Property
You must provide safe and reasonable access to the work area. If access is restricted or unsafe, we may not be able to carry out the work. We will discuss any access issues with you before starting.
9. Website Use
The content on www.dylex.ie is for general information. We make every effort to keep it accurate, but we do not guarantee it is error-free. We may update the website at any time without notice.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
